Exercise Ball Stretches

Exercise Ball Stretches

I started having pain in my right leg. The pain extend all the way down my leg into my foot. I ignored it as long as I could. There were days that I would have to stop walking and lean over to ease the pain. Finally, I went to the doctor. My doctor prescribed steroid pills, which worked wonderfully, but caused more unwanted weight-something I did not need. After a few weeks, the pain returned after I spent several hours standing, and I had to take another steroid pack. Unfortunately, the pain persisted, so I had to go to physical therapy. After a couple of months of PT, the pain in my legs was alleviated. While taking therapy, I was introduced to the exercise ball. It is WONDERFUL! If you have back problems, get an exercise ball from WalMart. It will make your life so much better.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling much better. As we get older studies have shown that we must increase the level of physical activity to strengthen the body. Unfortunately, in our American culture we rarely have time to fit it into our daily routine. I am thankful for your article because I have heard similiar complaints of pains running through one leg or the other from women approaching menopause.

Both diet and excercise seem to offer the most relief. I am hoping to be able to maintain a proper diet and excercise plan to avoid the over grown belly that men approaching 40 and beyond seem to battle with.

I think your message spans across both sexes and has a positive message for diet, excercise, and healthy living.

Hi Angie!

I 'm glad to hear you are feeling better, an incorporating exercise into your daily routine. Do you have any advice on how to use the ball for abdominal workouts?
